This Privacy Policy explains how Bitzer, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use AI Visibility Guard (AIVG) and related services (“Service”).

License Server Data:
- License key
- Domain name(s) where the Plugin is activated
- WordPress version and PHP version
- Plugin version
- License activation and validation timestamps
- Credit consumption records
- IP address of license validation requests
Usage Data:
- Number of pages processed
- Credit consumption patterns
- Feature usage statistics (which features are used, when, and how often)
- Error logs and diagnostic information
1.3 Content Processed by the Service
WordPress Content:
- Page titles and content (HTML text)
- Headings structure
- Published date and author information
- Post/page metadata
Important: This content is processed by Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate structured data, FAQs, and summaries. Processing primarily occurs on our own servers in Japan, but may also be processed by a third-party cloud LLM provider (see Section 3.3 for details). We do not permanently store your content after processing is complete.
1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not intentionally collect:
- Personal data of your website visitors
- Sensitive personal information (health data, financial account information, government IDs, biometric data, etc.)
- Information about children under 16 years of age
- Authentication credentials (passwords, API keys, etc.)
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Service Provision
- Activate and validate licenses
- Process content using LLM to generate structured data, FAQs, and summaries
- Manage credit allocation and consumption
- Deliver plugin updates
- Provide technical support
2.2 Billing and Payment
- Process payments through Stripe
- Issue invoices and receipts
- Manage subscription renewals
- Prevent fraud and unauthorized use
2.3 Service Improvement
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service

3.1 We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
3.2 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service:
Stripe (Payment Processing):
- Purpose: Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Data Shared: Name, email, payment method information
- Location: United States (Stripe complies with GDPR)

Cloud Infrastructure:
- Purpose: Host license server and databases
- Data Shared: License data, usage logs
- Location: Japan
Third-Party LLM Processing:
- Purpose: Process WordPress content using LLM when our primary servers are under high load or unavailable
- Data Shared: Page titles and content (HTML text) for LLM processing
- Location: United States
- Data Retention: Content processed in memory only; not permanently stored; not used for model training
3.3 LLM Processing
Your WordPress content may be processed by our servers in Japan or by third-party LLM processing services located in the United States, depending on operational conditions. In either case:
- Your content is processed in memory only
- Your content is not permanently stored after processing is complete
- Your content is not used to train or improve any AI models
- Processing is performed solely to generate structured data, FAQs, and summaries
3.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, including to:
- Comply with subpoenas or court orders
- Respond to lawful requests from public authorities
- Protect our rights, property, or safety
- Prevent fraud or abuse
3.5 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on our website before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
4.1 Active License Data
We retain your account and license information for as long as your license is active, plus:
- 3 years after license expiration (for accounting and legal compliance)
- Longer if required by law
4.2 Content Processing
WordPress content processed by the LLM is:
- Temporarily stored in memory during processing
- Deleted immediately after generating structured data, FAQ, and summary
- Not permanently stored on our servers
- Not used to train or improve LLM models
4.3 Usage and Log Data
- License validation logs: 2 years
- Credit consumption records: 3 years (for billing purposes)
- Error logs: 90 days
- Support communications: 3 years after last contact
4.4 Payment Information
Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe according to their retention policies. We do not store complete credit card numbers on our servers.
4.5 Deletion Requests
You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8 – Your Privacy Rights).
5. Data Security
5.1 Technical Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
In Transit:
- TLS/SSL encryption for all data transmission
- HTTPS for all web communications
- Secure API connections
At Rest:
- Database encryption

Operational:
- Regular backups (stored securely in Japan)

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for:

- Securing your WordPress installation
- Using strong passwords
6. International Data Transfers
6.1 Data Processing Location
Data processing primarily occurs in Japan. However, when third-party LLM processing services are used, your WordPress content may be temporarily processed on servers located in the United States. Third-party processors handle data in memory only and do not permanently store your content.
If you are located outside Japan or the United States (including in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland), your information will be transferred to and processed in Japan and/or the United States.
6.2 Legal Basis for Transfer
By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to Japan. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your information receives adequate protection.
6.3 Japan’s Data Protection Framework
Japan is recognized by the European Commission as providing adequate protection for personal data transferred from the EU (EU adequacy decision). We comply with applicable Japanese data protection laws.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
7.1 Our Website
Our website (bitzer.ai) may use:
- Essential cookies: Required for website functionality (e.g., session management)
- Analytics cookies: To understand how visitors use our site (Google Analytics)
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality.
7.2 The Plugin
The Plugin does not use cookies or tracking technologies on your website. It communicates with our license server via encrypted HTTPS API calls using cryptographic authentication.
