This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which Bitzer, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) may issue refunds for AI Visibility Guard (AIVG) purchases.
1. General Refund Policy
1.1 No Standard Refunds
Due to the nature of digital software products and the immediate delivery of license keys, we do not offer standard refunds after license activation.
By purchasing AIVG, you acknowledge that:
- You have reviewed the product description and features on our website
- You understand the Service requirements (WordPress, hosting, technical specifications)
- Digital products cannot be “returned” once delivered
- License keys are provided immediately upon payment confirmation
1.2 Exceptions
Refunds may be granted only in the exceptional circumstances described in this policy.
2. 14-Day Technical Compatibility Review Period
2.1 Eligibility
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your License Activation Date if:
The Plugin fundamentally does not work on your WordPress installation due to technical incompatibility, AND:
- You have WordPress 5.8 or higher
- Your hosting meets the minimum requirements stated on our website
- You have attempted to resolve the issue with our support team
- The issue is caused by the Plugin itself, not by:
- Third-party plugin conflicts
- Theme conflicts
- Server configuration issues
- Hosting provider limitations
- Custom code modifications
2.2 Required Steps
To qualify for a technical compatibility refund:
- Contact Support First:
- Email: support@bitzer.ai
- Subject: “Technical Issue – Refund Request – [Your Domain]”
- Example: “Technical Issue – Refund Request – example.com”
- Include: Detailed description, WordPress version, PHP version, error messages, screenshots
- Cooperation Required:
- Work with our support team to attempt resolution
- Provide requested diagnostic information
- Allow reasonable time for troubleshooting (at least 3 business days)
- Submit Refund Request:
- If the issue cannot be resolved after good-faith efforts
- Include: Your website domain, purchase date, summary of troubleshooting attempts
- Must be submitted within 14 days of License Activation Date
2.3 Processing
- Decision Time: Within 5 business days of receiving complete refund request
- Refund Method: Original payment method (via Stripe)
- Refund Amount: 100% of purchase price (excluding transaction fees charged by payment processors)
- Processing Time: 5-10 business days after approval
2.4 License Termination
Upon refund approval:
- Your license will be immediately deactivated
- You must uninstall the Plugin from all sites
- You must delete all Plugin files and license information
3. Service Failure Refunds
3.1 Extended Service Outage
If our license server or LLM processing service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance):
- We will provide a pro-rata credit for the outage period, OR
- You may request a partial refund for the affected period
3.2 Calculation
Pro-rata refund = (Days of outage / 365) × Annual license fee
3.3 Exclusions
Service failure refunds do NOT apply to:
- Scheduled maintenance (announced at least 48 hours in advance)
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, war, pandemic, etc.)
- Issues caused by your hosting provider or internet service
- Third-party service failures (Stripe, DNS providers, etc.)
- Outages less than 72 hours
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are NEVER refundable under any circumstances:
4.1 Used Credits
- Credits consumed through page processing
- Even if you are unsatisfied with AI-generated results
- Even if you decide not to use the Service further
4.2 Expired Credits
- Credits that have passed their expiration date (1 year from purchase)
- Unused credits at end of License Term
4.3 Additional Credit Purchases
- Credits purchased in addition to the annual license
- Once purchased, these are non-refundable (even if unused)
4.4 Renewal Fees
- If you forget to cancel before auto-renewal
- However, you may cancel future renewals at any time
4.5 Partial License Terms
- No refunds for early cancellation
- If you cancel, your license remains active until the end of the current term
- No pro-rata refunds for unused time
4.6 Change of Mind
- “I changed my mind” or “I don’t need it anymore”
- Dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described on our website
- Preference for a different plugin or service
4.7 User Error or Negligence
- Failure to read documentation or Terms of Service
- Purchasing the wrong product or subscription level
- Not using the Service after purchase
- Accidentally activating on the wrong domain (license transfers may be available – contact support)
4.8 Third-Party Conflicts
- Conflicts with other plugins or themes
- Hosting provider restrictions or limitations
- Custom code modifications breaking the Plugin
5. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks
5.1 Contact Us First
IMPORTANT: Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, please contact us at support@bitzer.ai to resolve the issue.
Most billing issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
5.2 Chargeback Consequences
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us:
- Your license will be immediately suspended
- We reserve the right to permanently ban your account
- You may be liable for:
- Chargeback fees (typically $15-25 USD)
- Administrative costs
- Value of credits consumed
5.3 Fraudulent Chargebacks
If you successfully process a chargeback but:
- You have consumed credits, AND
- The chargeback was not based on legitimate grounds (fraud, unauthorized transaction)
We reserve the right to:
- Pursue legal action to recover funds
- Report fraudulent activity to relevant authorities
- Ban you from future purchases
6. Refund Request Process
6.1 How to Request a Refund

Required Information:
- Full name and email address used for purchase
- Your website domain
- Purchase date
- Reason for refund request (be specific)
- Summary of troubleshooting attempts (for technical issues)
- Any relevant screenshots or error messages
6.2 Review Process
- Acknowledgment: Within 1 business day
- Review: Within 5 business days
- Decision: Approved or denied with explanation
- Processing: If approved, refund processed within 5-10 business days
6.3 Denied Requests
If your refund request is denied:
- We will explain the reason
- You may appeal by providing additional information
- Appeals are reviewed within 3 business days
- Appeal decisions are final
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Force Majeure
We are not liable for refunds if we cannot provide the Service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control:
- Natural disasters
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- Government actions or regulations
- Internet infrastructure failures
- Cyber attacks or hacking
7.2 Business Closure
If we permanently discontinue the Service:
- Active licenses will remain valid until their expiration date
- We will provide at least 90 days’ notice
- Pro-rata refunds for remaining license term (at our discretion)
7.3 Legal Requirements
If required by law in your jurisdiction, we will comply with applicable consumer protection regulations. This policy does not override mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
8. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights
8.1 European Union
If you are located in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. However, this right is waived if:
- You expressly requested immediate delivery of the digital content
- You began using the Service before the 14-day period expired
By purchasing AIVG, you acknowledge that you requested immediate license activation and waive your right of withdrawal.
8.2 United Kingdom
UK residents have similar rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. The same waiver applies as described in 8.1.
8.3 Australia
Australian residents may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. If we fail to meet a Consumer Guarantee:
- We may be required to provide a remedy (repair, replacement, or refund)
- Contact support@bitzer.ai to discuss Consumer Guarantee claims
8.4 Other Jurisdictions
If your local consumer protection laws provide additional rights beyond this policy, those rights are not waived by this policy.
9. Modifications to This Policy
9.1 Changes
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated “Last Updated” date.
9.2 Notice
For material changes, we will:
- Email active license holders
- Post a prominent notice on our website
- Provide at least 30 days before changes take effect
9.3 Application
The refund policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. Changes do not apply retroactively unless more favorable to you.
